The Science History Institute Museum is closed for renovations.
The Othmer Library remains open by appointment.

It’s National Library Week!

We’re celebrating this year’s theme, “Drawn to the Library,” by exploring the interplay of science and art in our collections.

Join our curators and librarians for a fun after-hours event in the Othmer Library’s reading room where you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • learn about the history of scientific illustration from our rare and modern books
  • discover the science behind artists’ materials
  • browse our unique collection of science-related comic books
  • make a book-themed craft to take home
  • enjoy a taste of our book-themed cake
  • support our library by adopting collection items
  • and much more!

Admission is free, and registration is required.
