Prerna Srigyan (she/her) is an anthropologist of science, technology, and education currently working as a PhD candidate in the Department of Anthropology at University of California, Irvine, and as a curriculum design specialist at UCI EcoGovLab. Her dissertation, tentatively titled “Making Science Subjects,” is a comparative analysis of scientific subjectivities in experimental science education programs and new science pedagogies, which came to characterize the relationship between science and politics in the Cold War United States (1945–1995). Her ethnographic sites include biographies of scientists and science educators, science education museums, science education conferences, participatory curriculum design research and implementation, and teaching archives.
