Alex Asal

Museum Educator

Alex Asal is a museum educator at the Science History Institute. She has a background in public history and has previously worked at Eastern State Penitentiary, the Jewish Women’s Archive, and a number of college archives beginning with Smith College, her alma mater.

Alex has a passion for primary source learning as well as women’s history, including the often-undervalued science of “women’s work” such as cooking and textile crafts.
