Episode 161: A Day in the Life - Morning by Distillations Podcast

Rise and shine! It’s time for a closer look at the science present in your everyday routines. As part of CHF’s Thanks to Chemistry project, we present the three-part series A Day in the Life. These shows spotlight the common chemistry of morning, noon, and night. Today’s episode centers on our morning bathroom rituals. First, biochemist Joe Rucker helps Distillations’ executive producer Jennifer Dionisio decode the long list of curious ingredients found on her toiletry labels. Then senior producer Mia Lobel investigates water fluoridation, and the debate that’s been surrounding it for more than 60 years.
